What helps us route the inquiry

For a photometric question, include room geometry, mounting height, task plane, target illuminance, surface reflectance assumptions and any UGR objective. Name the optic and output package if a candidate family is already on the schedule. These inputs let the project desk distinguish a file request from an application review.

For a controls question, describe the proposed interface—such as DALI-2 or 0-10V dimming—the number of zones, sensor intent and the party responsible for commissioning. Driver compatibility cannot be established from the protocol label alone; low-end dimming behavior, emergency integration, wiring topology and control ownership can affect final scope.

For compliance documentation, state the destination market and configuration. UL, CE and RoHS references apply to defined product scopes and cannot be assumed across every optic, driver or regional variant. We do not invent report identifiers or transfer a declaration from a similar family.

Limits of an initial response

An email review can identify missing evidence and plausible next steps, but it does not replace local code review, a complete calculation or on-site commissioning. Photometric results depend on accurate geometry and reflectance. Rated lifetime depends on thermal conditions, switching and driver stress. Where color appearance or glare is critical, a physical mock-up under representative finishes remains the more reliable verification path.
